Art Her-Story
My eye for design and art has been a driving force throughout my life. My mom likes to remind me of my childhood dream of becoming a “fashion designer living in Paris.” An Art Teacher in Tomah is pretty close, right? While I may not be living in a big city, I want to bring the quality of a big-city photographer to the wonderful people of rural Wisconsin.
I grew up in small-town Mauston, and then escaped for a bit in Milwaukee where I earned both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Art History. My adult dream was to be a Curator at a Museum. Life has lead me to instead teach Photography, Cinematography, and Graphic Art at Tomah High School. I love what I do and I am dedicated to nurturing the next generation of digital artists.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time with my partner and his two girls, my two cats, thrifting, riding my motorcycle, paddle boarding, hiking, reading fantasy, and traveling (eight countries so far). Additionally, I enjoy practicing my Spanish speaking skills.
Thank you for considering my work!
